Star Wars the Old Republic will be getting it’s first expansion in the spring of 2013, titled Rise of the Hutt Cartel.
As the title suggests, players of this Star Wars MMO will battle the Hutt Cartel on the new planet of Makeb. The Hutt Cartel is a threat to both the Republic and the Sith Empire and both factions must take action to stop the cartel. There will be new enemies, droids, and monsters to fight against as the level cap will be raised to from level 50 to level 55. New armor, weapons, abilities and more will also be available in the spring.
The price for Rise of the Hutt Cartel is tagged at $19.99 for those who play for free. Those who do not, will be able to purchase Rise of the Hutt Cartel for $9.99 instead. If you choose to preorder the expansion by January 7th, you will be able to play Rise of the Hutt Cartel five days early, which you can do so via SWTOR’s website. Both free to play and subscribers are allowed to preorder for the early access.
