Gamers have been rocking out since the dawn of gaming, and now Spotify wants to ensure all gamers have a soundtrack of their own with Spotify Gaming.
Spotify, one of the internet’s most popular music streaming services, has recently launched a gamer-oriented section on their website and apps. While Spotify has had many playlists featuring songs used by streamers, YouTube compilations, and original game soundtracks, this new portal allows gamers of all types to quickly and easily find music to fit their mood.
To herald in Spotify-Gaming.com, the streaming service has crafted new playlists and brought in some notable names and faces to contribute their playlists. These include streamers like Day[9], YouTubers such as Sneaky Zebra, and websites like Polygon and GamesBeat.
A Look at Spotify Gaming
Of course, plenty of video games have released official soundtracks in recent years. The site has some of those, too. You can find the songs from No Man’s Sky, Furi, the Halo franchise, and Mega Man all on their site! Unfortunately, they don’t have all of the rights to every franchise and IP, so don’t feel too bad if they don’t have what you really want.
Luckily, Spotify does have plenty of game fanatics on their site who love to make music. It isn’t hard to find an orchestral cover or original song made by fans, so be sure to give them a listen as well!
