Cartman’s alter ego, along with the other kids’ innocent personas, will help save the world in The Fractured But-Whole.
Lots and lots of details slide down the icy hills of South Park, creating a sequel that looks more than capable of following Stick of Truth. Trey and Matt themselves came out to show pieces of gameplay footage that described this crude little beast as a direct sequel to the first, the children of the town now switching to superhero franchise movie-money ambitions. This splits the kids into a cheeky civil war that somehow begins to endanger the world.
The Fractured But Whole will feature your character – no longer Douche Bag but now named But Whole – in one of 12 unique superhero classes with their own uniquely crass backstories, so it seems. Defining your character seems to be more emphasized this time around, especially in battle where you can actively move around the RPG spaces for close encounters, ranged battle, environmental and double team damage, and a much more smooth looking title than last gen’s title.
On that topic, The Stick of Truth is in fact a part of the pre-order bonus for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Anyone that pre-orders the game will receive an up-rezzed version of the original to play beginning today. Take a look here for all of the various editions that will be available.
The Fractured But Whole will release on those three consoles on December 6 of this year. A season pass will also be a part of the experience, containing who-knows-what from the demented minds of South Park
