Sony Trademarks "A Million Ways To Die"

Sony has registered a trademark with United States Patent & Trademark Office for what would appear to be a new video game called “A Million Ways To Die.” Sony filed the trademark application on August 6th which happens to be only six days before their Gamescom press conference which takes place tomorrow, August 12th.

Outside of this trademark we have very little information to go on regarded what this game might entail. The Trademark list “A Million Ways To Die” under “Computer game software; Downloadable computer game software via a global computer network and wireless devices; Video game software.” So it is safe to assume it is a new game.

What is interesting about this trademark is it happened to pop up the same day Sony released a new teaser trailer for what seems to be a horror game they plan to announce at Gamescom. It is looking extremely likely that these two things are related to each other.

So Is “A Million Ways To Die” a new Playstation exclusive horror game? Hopefully we will get the answers we are looking for at Sony‘s Gamescom press conference.
