Without going into further detail with the mind-numbing problems Sony faces over the previous months, Sony has looked to further correct their measures in every way imaginable.
Philip Reitinger (the previous Director of the US National Cyber Security Center), will become senior vice president and chief information security office in his new position at Sony.
Reitinger’s career history also includes stints with Microsoft and the U.S. Department of Defense.
Sony will look to Reitinger to strengthen its area’s where it lacked the proper authority on protecting its property and customers from attacks to the Playstation Network and other security systems.
Staying around his area in Washington DC, Reitinger will report directly to general counsel Nicole Seligman.
