E3 2017 is right around the corner and, like clockwork, we are getting teases of what will be on the show floor. In this case, a tease of a new full trailer for EA’s Star Wars Battlefront 2.
Recently on the PlayStation official Twitter account, the company posted a quick seven second video saying to tune in to EA’s Play event tomorrow morning to see a brand new trailer for the next game set in the galaxy far far away.
The teaser doesn’t really reveal much else about the game. In addition to the usual credited teams like EA and developer DICE, the footage shown were of several battle droids from the Star Wars prequels being deployed. Not exactly a major reveal since the last trailer for Star Wars Battlefront 2 confirmed that maps, vehicles, heroes and factions from both the prequel trilogy and the new era of sequels like Rogue One and The Force Awakens would be included in the new installment.
The last trailer shown also revealed that the game would include a completely original single-player campaign set during the original Star Wars film trilogy. This will most likely be the focus of the trailer revealed since one of the biggest criticisms thrown at the last installment in 2015 was the absolute lack of single-player content.
Nevertheless, if you like Star Wars, then set your clock and get ready to tune in to EA’s conference Saturday June 10 at 12 PM PT ( or 3 PM ET).
