If you thought Duke Nukem: Forever was over the top then you haven’t met Shadows of the Damned’s main character, Garcia Hotspur. If you’ve ever seen the movie The Princess Bride, then you know of the supporting character Inigo Montoya.
Garcia Hotspur is literally fashioned off that character, in my opinion. From his speech patterns, to his mannerisms, which Garcia Hotspur takes to the extreme. Combine that with his gun called the boner, and a ton of dick jokes, and saving his girlfriend who was captured by demons and you’re guaranteed to have an over the top story with a few genuine laughs.
Shadows of the Damned looks like a promising game, and I will definitely be buying it when I get some extra cash in my pocket. Check out the launch trailer for yourself and see whether this game my peak your interest. Take a second and leave a comment on your thoughts of the game.
