SDCC 2012 | Abrams ComicArts joins ComiXology Digital Store

During yesterdays Abrams ComicArts panel at Comic-Con, the comic book publisher revealed that they have teamed up with ComiXology to begin digitally distributing their comics.

With this brand new announcement, ComiXology has put four full-length graphic novels alongside one art book, on their servers for instant purchase right now. These titles will fully utilize the CMX-HD format as well.

The four titles and art book are:

My Friend Dahmer by Derf Backderf

Empire State: A Love Story (Or Not) by Jason Shiga

Mom’s Cancer by Brian Fies

Fairy Tales For Angry Little Girls by Lela Lee

Cats, Dogs, Men, Women, Ninnies & Clowns: The Lost Art of William Steig by Jeanne Steig

“We’re thrilled that readers everywhere will now get to experience our comics and graphic novels via comiXology,” said Charles Kochman, editorial director of Abrams ComicArts.

Expect to see more from Abrams ComicArts in the near future. You can download the ComiXology app for your favorite iOS and Android platforms now and can purchase and read them from their website as well.
