RUMOR: Apple to release 15 inch and 17 inch "slim line" notebooks.

With the introduction of Mac OS X Lion being appstore only, the Macbook being killed and the air taking it’s place, and the removal of a DVD drive from the Mac Mini, it seems like Apple predicts a discless future for home computing. So will the Macbook Pro face similar fate? Right now there’s rumor floating around about a 15 inch and 17 inch slimline Apple computer. My issue is how will Apple look marketing a so called professional machine with cuts of major commonly used formats. One other possibility is that this will be a middle ground computer to the Air and Pro, and if so how much will it cost? Who knows it may even be replacements for the current sized 11 inch and 13 inch Airs. Now you may say, “But Samuel it’s just a wild internet rumor.” which is certainly true; but at one time the Apple TV, iPad, iPhone, and most recently White iPhone were considered to be wild rumors. For example here’s someone shunning the existence of the White iPhone Rumors media outlets were reporting on.

You should take any rumor with a grain of salt, but remember not every rumor is fake. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below. Game Junkies Unite!
