Rooster Teeth Games Opens Their Doors To Indie Developers

Rooster Teeth Games Opens Their Doors To Indie Developers

Pioneering entertainment and Rooster Teeth have launched a brand new publisher which aims to bring more indie games to the gaming community.

Thanks to their impressive footprint in the gaming community, due in part to their YouTube Network that features more than 30 million(!) subscribers, Rooster Teeth will give independent developers a better exposure for their games.

Dubbed Rooster Teeth Games, this new studio/developer recently released RWBY: Grimm Eclipse for PS4 and Xbox One, a best-seller on already available Steam since last summer. Not one to rest on their laurels, Rooster Teeth Games is already getting the wheels in motion to publish theirsecond game: Invisible Collective’s Battlesloths 2025: The Great Pizza Wars.

Here’s what Michael Hadwin, Director at Rooster Teeth Games, had to say about this new business venture:

“Rooster Teeth services the community of people who grew up on game consoles instead of cable boxes. With Rooster Teeth Games, we will bring a wide array of engaging and entertaining video games on all platforms to this community, and in turn introduce the indie developer to this thriving demographic.”

Hadwin adds:

“We invite the aspiring, stellar, creative indie developers around the world to contact Rooster Teeth Games and pitch their best content and games to us. We are eager to share access to the vast potential audiences within the Rooster Teeth community, and to publish and deliver new and exciting content to gamers worldwide, starting with Battlesloths.”

Rooster Teeth Games will also lend a hand to indie partners with end-to-end e-commerce merchandising and promotional solutions.

The publisher’s next project, Battlesloths 2025: The Great Pizza Wars, is a fast-paced, local multiplayer, competitive twin-stick shooter with up to four players. The goal? Destroy your enemies and collect as much pizza as you can. It promises chaotic fun through 20 unique weapons and four game modes.

Here’s what Randy Greenback, Executive Producer for Invisible Collective, had to say about this partnership:

“It’s easy to see that Rooster Teeth embodies the spirit of the game in all they do. Their approach to entertainment, paired with their awareness of the current market, makes them the ideal publisher for Battlesloths.”
