Return to the Courtroom with Phoenix Wright Trilogy HD on iOS

If you ever wanted to try out the first three Phoenix Wright games, on May 30th, you will have that chance.

Originally set to launch in the fall of 2012 for iOS, the Phoenix Wright Trilogy HD release date was pushed around a few times. Recently we thought this collection would launch in July, however Capcom has moved up that date for May 30th. Phoenix Wright Trilogy HD will feature the first three games that initially came out for the Nintendo DS.

The app itself will be free to download and will come with a demo of the first two chapters of the original game. All three games, Ace Attorney, Justice for All, and Trails and Tribulations can be purchased as a pack for $17. If you wish to buy them separately, the first game will cost you $6 and then $7 for the additional two each. All three games have been remastered for iOS devices.

Ace Attorney was first released back in October of 2001. Known as Gaykuten Saiban in Japan, the game series took off with a cult following. Justice for All followed in 2002 and Trials and Tribulations in 2004. Ace Attorney 5: Dual Destinies is the newest in the series, a game made for the Nintendo 3DS, which has already been out in Japan as of last year. Those outside of Japan will be able to play it this fall. With Phoenix Wright Trilogy HD being released next week, here’s your chance to brush up on this courtroom drama game or perhaps to discover the Phoenix Wright series for the first time.
