Resident Evil 6 Receives New Content to the Xbox 360 First

On December 4, 2012, creators of the Resident Evil series, Capcom, announced that the first installment of additional downloadable content for their newest title in the series, Resident Evil 6, would be released December 18, exclusively for Microsoft’s Xbox 360 console first.

This title has been pleasing fans of the series, continuing the stories of gamers’ favorites Leon and Chris, as well as bringing to the forefront old faces, such as Rebecca Chambers, and adding new options to the mix, such as Jake. The action is just as intense as the previous title, with a few new tricks, and this new content intends to take it up a notch.

This premier release of extra content will include three new game modes, titled Predator, Onslaught, and Survivors. These new modes aim to expand multiplayer on the most recent Resident Evil title, accompanying the now-classic Mercenaries mode we first saw in Resident Evil 4.

Each of these new modes will cost 320 Microsoft Points apiece on the Xbox Live Market. As a bundle, the collection of all three will be sold at a lower point value, 720 in its entirety. These modes add even more excitement to the world of Resident Evil 6, and are sure to please gamers just in time for a holiday release.
