Reclaim Your Throne In Army Corps of Hell

With the launch of the PS Vita right around the corner, it’s no shock to see major developers announcing the first slew of titles for the handheld. Sqaure Enix want to take you to hell and back in Army Corps of Hell, a vicious, funny and lightning fast title for the new Sony system.
In Army Corps of Hell players will control an army of a hundred goblin soldiers with various classes and abilities to defeat a host of enemies in order to reclaim the King of Hell’s throne. Players can take full advantage of the unique control features of the PS Vita system to experience war like never before!

“We are very excited to have Army Corps of Hell as part of the exclusive launch line-up of the PS Vita system,” said Mona Hamilton, vice president of marketing for Square Enix, Inc. “The team at Entersphere is creating a unique action game that fully embraces the power and controls of the PS Vita system.”

The game sets you as the King of Hell who, after being defeated in battle, must fight his way back through his own kingdom to reclaim his thrown. Utilizing a rag-tag bunch of goblin soldiers you must defeat your enemies, looting your way as you go.
Army Corps of Hell will make full use of the rear touch pad on the PS vita, in this case making your goblin troops play instruments, each of which has a special property such as reviving your hero or rejuvenating your soldiers. Players will also be able to combine the loot dropped from foes to make new and ever more devastating weapons and armor for your troops, and for those of a social bent you can team up with friends and take on some tougher enemies to acquire rare items.
The game is slated for a 2012 release and will be one of Square Enix’s first titles on the new system. Until then you can just plan your bloody revenge as you await your return to hell
