Until Dawn

First up on the PlayStation Plus games for the PS4 is Until Dawn. Developed by Supermassive Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, this is an interactive drama horror adventure that’ll keep you on your toes. Follow the story about eight teenagers vacationing for a night at Blackwood Mountain that ends up going terribly wrong. Just like other decision-based games, this is a game you would have to play multiple times to achieve different endings. While playing, there is also a system called the “butterfly effect.” Remember, all decisions will have consequences later down the road. Can you keep all teenagers alive, all dead or maybe some of them will fall into a gruesome death? Download this game and find out!

Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series

Next up is a episodic decision-based game and that is Game of Thrones: A TellTale Games Series. If you’re familiar with The Walking Dead series, then this game is up your ally. Play through five episodes following the books and T.V. adaptation of the ever popular A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin. The story follows House Forrester, which are a noble family from the north of Westeros loyal to House Stark from Winterfell. Unfortunately, they are surrounded by events of the War of the Five Kings. The player will follow through different members of House Forrester as you determine their fate through the choices you make. Just like in Until Dawn, every decision has consequences in the future. So choose wisely!

Tokyo Jungle

Now, let’s move onto the PS3 games. First we have Tokyo Jungle. Developed by Crispy’s and SCE Japan Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, this game welcomes you to the jungle. The game takes place in futuristic Tokyo and the entire city is a wasteland filled with wild animals. There are two modes: Story and Survival mode. Story mode has the player controlling various animals that follow a story of why the existence of mankind is no longer there. Survival mode can be played either through solo play online or local multiplayer. Each player controls a different animal to battle out other animals (players) to survive as long as possible. Players can keep track of the online leaderboards to gain that number one spot as well. Need a little wildlife action in your life? Try this game out!

Darkstalkers Resurrection

To close out the PS3 games, next up we have a fighting game called Darkstalkers Resurrection. Developed by Iron Galaxy Studios and published by Capcom, this game has the best of each previous installments such as Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge and Darkstalkers 3 into one. Just like other fighting games, players can battle the CPU or other players online through ranked or unranked matches. Do you like fighting games, interested in a set of unique characters or maybe love the series? Darkstalkers Resurrection won’t disappoint you!

Element4l

Moving forward to the PS Vita games, first up we have Element4l. Developed and published by I-Illusions, this is an indie puzzle platform game that’s more on the relaxing side. The player controls four different elements that are bound together: Air, Ice, Stone and Fire. There are no enemies. All you have to do is control the elements through four stages as well: Heart, Mind, Willpower and Imagination. Each stage has its own specific color scheme and puzzles. Don’t Die, Mr. Robot!

PlayStation Plus - Don’t Die, Mr. Robot!

To close out this month’s free games and the only cross buy game for the PS4 is Don’t Die, Mr. Robot!. Developed and published by Infinite State Games, this is a cute fast-paced arcade action game. The player controls Mr. Robot, a character that loves fruit. Each time he tries to eat a piece of fruit it explodes. Those explosions aren’t too bad because they help destroy hordes of enemies that are trying to destroy him. The game features four different modes: Remix, Arcade, Time Attack and Chill Out.
