WipEout racers, get ready for some exciting features coming to your PS3 and PS Vita copies of WipEout. WipEout 2048, the popular anti-gravity racing game for PS Vita, is receiving a pretty hefty piece of DLC kit.
Sony has promised a lot of cross game versing between the PS3 and PS Vita, but we’ve yet seen much of that vision being accomplished. To change that, Sony is lighting up WipEout with this feature. WipEout 2048 players who have their Online Pass installed are now able to download the WipEout HD and WipEout HD Fury DLC packs from the PlayStation Store. Both pieces of DLC cost $7.99, but if you’re a hardcore fan of the series, you might want to buy them both. Sony is offering a special bundle that gives buyers insane value by giving them all 24 maps, 12 reverse maps, 4 zone mode tracks, a zone mode ship, and, of course, cross-game access.
The good deals don’t end there, though. If you own the PS3 version of WipEout HD or WipEout HD Fury, you can download the PS Vita version/s for free. The same goes for those who buy the PS Vita versions of those games, the owners will be able to download the PS3 versions for free.
