Ratchet & Clank has always been my gaming touchstone. It has characters, platforming, progress, achievements, dialogue, story and all other factors down to a science. This is one of the few series where I can sit down with and lose my whole weekend while Husband watches me play (I did make him do any flying in A Crack in Time– I hate flying).
This time though, Ratchet & Clank has real live multi-player for up to four players. Thankfully, this is an option not a requirement, you can still play as just Ratchet with a Clank-pack. but in this iteration the Clank-pack will hop off Ratchet’s back and join the fray.

It’s great to see that not too much has changed from previous games in the franchise. These are light writing-driven games about a space cat (Lombax) with a propensity to get in to trouble by being in the wrong place at the wrong time with all the right skills.
All 4 One (see what they did there with the 4… because there’s 4 player multi-player…) will be released on October, 18th 2011 (This Year!) and is still a PS3 exclusive.
