The PS Vita, thanks to PlayStation Experience, is experiencing quite the resurgence and quickly becoming that hot-ticket item for Sony once again. With games like Shovel Knight and Resident Evil: Revelations 2 slated for PS Vita sometime next year, the little handheld that could is finally finding its footing.
Flyhunter Origins, developed by veteran studio Steel Wool Games, looks to bring a unique title to Vita’s diverse catalog. Flyhunter Origins tells the story of an unlikely hero who is tasked with saving the world when a cargo of highly expensive insects crash-lands on Earth; it’s up to Zak, a clumsy janitor, to hunt these rare insects down and restore order once again. The zany plot is only complimented by the cutesy, colorful visuals as Zak scuttles about with a fly swatter. A fly swatter.
PS Vita is great when it comes to providing titles that are off-the-wall and unexpected, it’s no wonder Flyhunter Origins looks to be right at home with the sleek handheld. Flyhunter Origins is also out now on PC via Steam and Mac for a cool $6.99.
