News came across the wire that the PlayStation 3-branded 3D display which was unveiled at E3 this year has been featured on Amazon as well as Target.
The 24″ 3D set displays in 1080p, 240 Hz, and has a backlit HD LED display. It will include a HDMI cable, a pair of 3D glasses, and a copy of MotorStorm Appocalpse.
Now, a lot of sites are reporting this to be an actual television, and they are blatantly wrong, as the display does not include a TV tuner.

[box_dark]What’s the primary difference between a display and TV? The primary difference between a display and a TV is that a TV has an integrated TV tuner. A TV tuner is needed when connecting directly to a TV antenna oranalog cable via a coaxial cable. When connecting to digital cable or satellite TV, a cable TV box is provided by your television service provider. With a display, you can watch TV by simply connecting your cable TV box via an HDMI or component input.[/box_dark]
No word of the relationship with the Resistance 3 3D TV bundle as of yet. The TV is slated to be on shelves on November 26th 2011.
