Pac-Man Party 3D Releases Today

Long ago, Namco released a Pac-Man mini-game collection reminiscent of Mario Party. In a stroke of genius, it was called Pac-Man Fever. It wasn’t all that good, but with a few friends, it could be a riot. Just recently, a new game, Pac-Man Party, was released on Wii. Now, we get to see it in true stereoscopic 3D as Pac-Man Party 3D has just released for the Nintendo 3DS.

Pac-Man Party has received its fair share of criticism, but it has also seen its fair share of praise. This new(ish) game could be a fun alternative for those seeking a fun multiplayer experience on 3DS. If you need more info, I’ll leave this press release for you guys.

Leading video game publisher and developer NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. announced today that PAC-MAN Party™ 3D is now available throughout North America for the Nintendo 3DS™ system. Set across multiple themed parties, PAC-MAN and his friends star in an adventure packed with dozens of mini-games, challenges and surprises.  With something for the entire family, PAC-MAN Party 3D provides exciting and fun challenges for up to four players across unique virtual game boards.

PAC-MAN Party 3D continues PAC-MAN’s pop culture legacy by offering a game that captures the spirit of the franchise and the hearts of its players. Featuring more than 50 exciting mini-games and eight characters to choose from including Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Clyde, players will be fully immersed in fun filled world of PAC-MAN.  From dodging a cascade of blocks, to racing across ice platforms and sports challenges, there is non-stop action for everyone.

So, are any 3DS owners out there looking into this one? Any Wii owners feel like voicing their opinion? Let us know in the comments.
