The French version of Amazon.com had an awesomely put together bundle for Sony console fans: a PlayStation 4 Ultimate Player Edition Bundle, complete with a PlayStation 4 console, once controller and a PlayStation Vita. The price for the bundle was listed for 579.99 Euro, which is $788.74 in US currency.
Don’t throw your money at the screen just yet. Unfortunately, the listing for the PlayStation 4 bundle has been taken down. Aside from the obvious leak on Amazon, one could speculate that this bundle might have been something that Sony may be looking to release to retail in the future. The bundle comes with no game, but if it did then it would likely cost an extra $60 more, putting the total price to about 640 Euro or at $870.84.
Is the market even ready for a PlayStation 4 bundle such as this one? Will Sony’s competition at Microsoft or Nintendo be doing similar deals to this one once the holiday season rolls around? What sort of repercussions will an unlucky French employee receive as a result of this leaked listing?
The answers are pretty barren right now. All we know is that we want bundles like this one.
