This month, Microsoft has revealed that Xbox 360 Gold subscribers will be able to download Halo 3 as part of their Games With Gold program.
Starting back in July, Microsoft initiated its Games With Gold program, which has offered Gold subscribers two games a month, one on the 1st of the month and the second on the 15th of the month. This month, Microsoft is offering Halo 3 and Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes. Assassin’s Creed 2 and Halo 3 were the first games promoted by Microsoft at E3 as part of their Games With Gold program.
It’s safe to assume that most Halo fanatics already know Halo 3 like the back of their own hand, as it has been out for about 6 years now, but Xbox 360 Gold subscribers will be able to download Halo 3 for free on October 16th. Ubisoft’s Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes is free until the 15th of this month. The Games With Gold Program will be in effect until this December.
