On September 8th, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Sprit of Justice will launch on the Nintendo 3DS handheld for $29.99. This information comes directly from a statement made by Capcom yesterday.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney- Spirit of Justice is the sixth Ace Attorney title to be developed. Spirit of Justice will be available digitally when the game launches in September; no word on a retail release has come to light yet.
Additionally, a demo for the game comes out on August 25th, so that players can test drive the game two weeks before the release date.
The demo in question focuses on the game’s Divination Séances, which are essentially flashbacks to the last moments of a victim’s life. These flashbacks are used to help discover the truth about what actually occurred.
The release dates weren’t the only details Capcom unveiled today. A new trailer went live today, showcasing the game’s cast and their unique abilities as well. Spirit of Justice contains foreign faces as well as some very familiar ones for those who have played Ace Attorney over the years.
Eme Skye, a forensics scientist who aided Wright on a number of previous cases, returns to the spotlight, as does Trucy Wright, a professional magician and Phoenix’s adopted daughter. Apollo and Athena, both found in Dual Destinies, also arrive to help Trucy solve the mystery of a fellow performer who was murdered.
Also, for players needing to catch up before the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice hits, Duel Destinies is currently on sale at the Nintendo eShop for $12. There’s also Ace Attorney Trilogy and Apollo Justice for those who need to do some serious catching up.
