PAX Prime | Passage Reveal Trailer

In creating Passage, a “digital tactical card game,” the team at Second Wind Games didn’t set out to reinvent the card game. Rather, they sought to refine and explore new ideas. In a familiar framework that has shades of both Yu-Gi-Oh and the classic board game chess, Passage brings new ideas into the genre while sharpening the best of what game before it. The aerial and underground combat, for instance, add a new gameplay element that is sure to create some interesting tactics. Pair that with a slick art style, and Passage is a game that card game fans should definitely consider adding to their deck. Check out the reveal trailer below.

Currently, the team is staying flexible with the design, since the game is so early into development.

“We hope people will reach out to us with ideas and concepts of what they would like to see added to the game. Right now the game’s platform is looking to be challenged as we believe it truly allows for anything.”

Passage will release on iOS, Android and PC, with no specified release date. For more about the game, studio, and information about each card, visit the team’s website here.
