Overwatch Update: Torbjörn is Getting Nerfed!

Overwatch

To all agents of Overwatch, I know you’ve been in an escort or capture mission and the defending team thought it would be hilarious to all play Torbjörn which makes it almost impossible to forge ahead. Good news on consoles he’s getting a big ol’ NERF!

Since Overwatch’s release in May players have been completely enthralled with the amazing characters and co-op game-play. Completing an objective with your team is rewarding and the accomplishment of a victory feels so great, you know what doesn’t feel great? gettin’ auto-turrreted from across the room.

Overwatch

On PS4 and Xbox One Torbjörn’s turrets have been the bane of many players – myself included. With such distance and pin point accuracy it’s hard to manage any wiggle room. So why nerf him solely on console? Game pad controls just don’t have the accuracy and mobility that you can get with a keyboard and mouse, by the time you’ve managed to whirl around that turret has already killed you.

Torbjörn’s turret’s will recieve a 30% nerf to their power, making it easier for Pharah to have a chance to jet in for the kill. The patch is scheduled for mid or late July, but just take solace in the fact that the skies will be a little clearer in the days to come.
