Overwatch Game Of The Year Edition Coming To Retail

Overwatch Game of the Year Edition

By now, everyone and their mothers know about Overwatch, Blizzard’s multiplayer only shooter which originally released May of last year and became a surprising hit for the gaming world. Well now, the developer has announced that Overwatch Game Of The Year Edition is coming to retail on Friday, July 28th.

While the GOTY edition has been available digitally since May, Blizzard hasn’t forgotten players who still enjoy a physical copy. Some of us cannot resist the pleasure of walking into gaming stores to grab a fresh copy of a game off the shelves.

Obviously, Game of the Year edition means a more “complete” version. The Overwatch version is no exception to this rule. The game will include the following additional content, alongside the core game:

  • 10 Bonus Overwatch Loot Boxes
  • Overwatch Origins Skins
  • Diablo III Mercy’s Wings
  • World of Warcraft Baby Winston Pet
  • StarCraft II In-game Portraits
  • Hearthstone Card Back

Since it’s original May 2016 release, Overwatch amassed a huge cult following along with a plethora of awards such as Golden Joystick Awards 2016’s Best Audio and Best Multiplayer Game along with Game Informer, Eurogamer and Polygon’s Game Of The Year. I could go on but if you fancy all the awards, head over here.

The Overwatch Game Of The Year Edition is also a great opportunity for players to dive in and get to know what the fuss is a all about.
