Onslaught is Ghosts' First DLC for 2014, 4 New Multiplayer Maps + New Dual-Purpose Weapon the "Maverick" & Screenshots!

This week Activision and Infinity Ward revealed the first DLC for Call of Duty: Ghosts called “Onslaught“. This DLC will contain 4 epic new multiplayer maps along with a new dual-purpose weapon called the “Maverick“.

You can download Onslaught January 28th exclusively for Xbox Live members, as usual gamers on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One get to play the first DLC of the year first. The DLC can be purchased separately or with the Call of Duty: Ghosts season pass that gives the DLC a small discounted price. Ghosts is the number 1 most played multiplayer title currently for both consoles.

This new DLC, the first of the year and first of more to come promises to deliver the fast paced experience Call of Duty fans love. Each map has it’s own custom environment on scales small to medium. The gameplay will vary on each map and will be fun to get to know.

  • The four new maps are called: Fog, BayView, Containment, and Ignition
  • The Maverick is a dual-purposed assault and sniper rifle that comes with the purchase of the DLC.

“We know our fans have an appetite for new gameplay content all year long, and the team here is committed to delivering a full season’s worth of amazing new maps, weapons and more, starting with Onslaught in January,” said Mark Rubin, Executive Producer at Infinity Ward. “This year will see an assortment of content for players to dig into, with new, uniquely themed maps, new multiplayer weapons, and an episodic Extinction story arc that introduces new characters, new locations, and new weapons as they try to uncover the genesis of the aliens’ existence.
