OnLive Now Fully Supported on Sony Xperia

For those of you who have a Sony Xperia PLAY phone and got the OnLive app have probably been wondering since the app launched, when your phone was going to be fully supported. Otherwise, the app would’ve made the Xperia’s slide-out controls completely useless.

Well, Xperia PLAY owners, now’s your time to do a little dance, because OnLive is delivering full Sony Xperia PLAY support in a new update. Just in time for Christmas.

Yup, you’ll now be able to play AAA-console titles on your phone with your slide-out controls. Those who have Android tablets or phones without the Sony Xperia PLAY’s advantage will be stuck playing OnLive’s 24-touch compatible games. Still a pretty sweet deal, but I’d really love to be able to play Arkham City on my phone. Sure, the screen’s small and the resolution will suck, but the idea that I could be playing Arkham City on-the-go is pretty sweet.

Sony Xperia PLAY owners… color me jealous. Now what are you waiting for? Go get your update and get the ability to play a full blown console game on your phone.
