Not One, But Two Serious Sam Games Hit XBLA This Fall

Xbox 360 owners can expect two new titles from the Serious Sam franchise to be hitting the Arcade this fall.

Serious Sam 3: BFE being a brand new title, and Serious Sam Double D XXL being an addition on top of the original Serious Sam Double D, with all new features, missions, weapons and a wild campaign cooperative mode. Fans of the original Double D title will not be disappointed by all the exciting additions XXL will bring to the table, that’s for sure. It’s simply bigger, better action, this time with friends.

However, Serious Sam 3: BFE brings a whole new type of action to the table and Fork Parker, CFO of Devolver Digital (co-publisher of Serious Sam 3: BFE and Serious Sam Double D XXL) is clearly very confident that you’re going to have trouble maintaining your cool while playing these new titles:
“Xbox LIVE Arcade gamers are going to get so much insane Serious Sam action this summer it’s going to make their televisions bleed. Call the paramedics, homey. Your flat screen TV just took another headshot from Serious Sam.”
Basically, I think he’s saying you should get ready to have your mind blown.
