With Batman: Arkham Knight on the horizon for next year, Rocksteady Studios, the curators of the Arkham series, gave gamers a hint to what could be Arkham City’s final easter egg.Doing things a bit more cryptically than simply revealing Arkham Asylum’s destructible wall, the team created a YouTube account named JG Jour. JG stands for Julian Gregory, and jour is the French word for day. Julian Gregory Day, of course, is Calendar Man’s alias, a villain we previously thought was part of a creative, time consuming achievement.
BatmanArkhamVideos, a YouTube channel dedicated to Batman: Arkham coverage, did the rest of the detective work by inputting dates relevant to Rocksteady. December 13, 2004, the studios’ founding date, was the key. Watch below as Calendar Man reveals some secrets that could very possibly yield clues to the events of the upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight.
Batman: Arkham Knight will release June 2, 2015, for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will be the final part of RockSteady’s trilogy and a farewell to their award-winning series.
