Oddworld: New ’n’ Tasty Update: Price and Release Date!

Oddworld Inhabitants and Just Add Water are working diligently to bring their first installment of the Oddworld series to the current generation. The creators of truly creative and, well, odd worlds are aiming to announce an official post-E3 release date pre-E3 –they’ll announce it before June 9th and it will come out after June 12th.

While we don’t know the exact release date yet, they assure fans that New ‘n’ Tasty will be out very soon and have released new screens of the game, as shown below, as a show of good faith. What has been specified is how much the updated adventures of Abe will be.

Oddworld: New ’n’ Tasty will be $29.99 in the US, €24.99 in Europe and (approximately) £19.99 in the UK. The game will also follow the current trend of releasing on all three Sony consoles by being cross-buy. Oddworld is also implementing the cross-save feature for the ability to take your game progress on the road and back. News regarding other platforms is expected to be announced soon.

New ’n’ Tasty is a rebuilt-from-the-ground-up version of the PlayStation Classic and will include updated AI, new character models, seamless level transitions, modernized graphics, and with storytelling still being “very much at the forefront of it all”.
