Nyko Releases Sleek New Switch Accessories Just in Time for the Holidays

We’re already halfway through November, and Thanksgiving as well as Christmas is just around the corner. If you’re on the hunt for a Nintendo Switch or already have one, Nyko has some great accessories that can accompany your console. They just recently released a charge base and a thin case for it. Let’s take a look!

Nyko Charge Base

Do you need an alternative charging base aside from what came with the Switch? Nyko’s alternative accessory may be for you. It is definitely great as a secondary stand, which also charges the console while you are playing games during tabletop mode. If you happen to have more than one pair of Joy-Cons, the dock can also charge that as well. The stand can also be plugged into any wall outlet, too.
Nyko - Switch Charge Base

Key Features:

  • Conveniently stores and charges the Nintendo Switch and two Joy-Con
  • Plugs into any wall outlet to recharge
  • Serves as a secondary charging dock
  • Acts as a stand while the Nintendo Switch is charging

Nyko Thin Case

Nyko - Switch Thin Case
There are plenty of other cases and screen protectors currently out for the Switch in order to protect it. Some are either too bulky or don’t do a good job protecting the screen. This thin case is something I would definitely look into getting. It actually protects the entire console including the Joy-Cons. While the Switch is protected, it can also fit in the dock as well allowing the Joy-Cons to be pulled off, too. What is also great about the case is that the front is tempered glass for that extra protection.

Key Features:

  • Protects the exterior of the Nintendo Switch and Joy-Cons
  • Allows Joy-Cons to be removed while Thin Case is attached
  • Can remain attached while docking the Nintendo Switch
  • Includes one tempered glass screen protector

Nyko’s charging base (MSRP $29.99) and thin case (MSRP $12.99) are also available now for purchase at Amazon and GameStop.
