Finally at long last NVIDIA has launched their ideal vision of the ‘budget conscious gamers’ Graphics Processing Unit (GPU). The GeForce GTX 660 Ti is designed to be capable of tackling even the most power hungry games but at a reasonable cost.
Unlike NVIDIA’s competitor AMD, NVIDIA believes more in quality than quantity. Now that’s not to say that AMD does not feel the same way as NVIDIA about their products. But when you look at the sheer variety that AMD offers based on performance and price, it can become quite confusing as to which graphics card is best suited for the task at hand.
The GeForce 660 Ti packed full of features, you can check them out below in this image snapshot:
NVIDIA’s GeForce 660 Ti is placed competitively against AMD’s Radeon HD 7950. The GeForce 660 Ti is based on the same GK104 silicon just like the other GeForce 600 series graphics card. Recent benchmarking results from trusted news outlets confirm that the GeForce 660 Ti can perform on par with AMD’s Radeon HD 7950 and in some cases well exceed it and able to max out most games easily on the highest settings. The majority of GeForce GTX 660 Ti graphics cards being launched today are of custom-design with prices ranging between $299 and $349.
