No Kevin Conroy for Arkham Origins

It has been announced today that Kevin Conroy won’t be back for Arkham Origins. Conroy, who has voice Bruce Wayne and Batman since the Animated Series, will be sitting out on this next game. Rather sad, if you ask me. I mean, it does make sense. This is an origin story and features Bruce when he’s much younger, but still. Kevin Conroy IS the voice of Batman. It’d be like replacing Mark Hamill with that guy from Brokeback Mountain.

This does present another significant change from the previous two  entries. And naturally all these departures from the form that has worked so well before has some fans worried. First, a different publisher, now no Mark Hamill or Kevin Conroy, and a rather unknown main villain. How will this entry fare? Time will tell. What do you think? I’m just disappointed by the lack of Dick Grayson. Look for more information about Arkham Origins as we get closer to its release. For more Kevin Conroy, I recommend watching Batman: The Animated Series on Netflix.
