Nintendo hasn’t been short on high-profile releases lately, with Super Mario 3D Land, Zelda: Skyward Sword, and Mario Kart 7 all releasing within weeks of each other. That doesn’t mean that they’ve run the well dry, though. Come 2012, Nintendo is filling the post-holiday season with plenty of games, not the least of which is the long-awaited return of the Kid Icarus series.
Resident Evil: Revelations will kick off the steady stream of releases, as it hits as soon as February 7th, alongside the North American release of the Circle Pad Pro, which will retail for $19.99. Beyond that, we’ll see Rhythm Heaven Fever on February 13th, Tales of the Abyss on February 14th and PokePark 2: Wonders Beyond rounding out the month on the 27th. MLB 2K12 will “March” onto the Wii when March 6th rolls around, followed by Mario Party 9 on March 11th, and Kid Icarus: Uprising will round out the quarter when it lands on 3DS systems March 23rd.
Metal Gear Solid 3D, Crush 3D, and Rayman Origins will see a release on 3DS sometime in the quarter, but have not been given an official date.
