Tecmo Koei America has announced that Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus and Dynasty Warrior Next are making their way to players’ hands now as portable versions of the games are shipping to retailers across the nation.
Gamers can execute powerful Ninpo attacks as Ryu Hayabusa or take on enemies as one of the greatest generals of Ancient China with these two launch titles, engineered to utilize the PlayStation Vita’s innovative control system.
Ninja Gaiden fans will experience their favorite masked super ninja’s battles with a high-speed console quality of the Sigma series without being tethered to the couch. Exclusive to the PS Vita, front and rear touch screens and Six Axis controls enhance the ferocity of the fight, giving players the ability to use an accurate firing mode while tapping, swiping and launching projectile weapons at foes with precision thanks to onscreen indicators.
Those who are new to the critically acclaimed action game will be able to engage in gaudy sword combat without missing the plot thanks to Hero Mode, a feature that applies auto guard defense, automated evasions and reinforced Ninpo through basic controls. On the other hand, game veterans can run the gauntlet of Ninja Trials, which pose a series of high-intensity, mission-based battles and achievements. Two to four players can connect in local ad hoc co-op for the new Conquest Mode (supporting Wi-Fi and 3G) and multi-player Coalition Mode via the PlayStation Vita’s new LiveArea, an online hub that allows concerted demolition of enemies and a truly interactive experience.
“Straight Commands” direct your subordinates and “Direct Breaks” instantly capture bases with a simple shake or touch of the screen, engaging players new players with tension-fueled duels. Game veterans will also appreciate the return of “Edit Mode”’s ability to customize up to 65 playable characters.
