The Naruto series has long since sent chills down fan’s spines since the franchise’s birth in 1997. After years of manga, anime and video games, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 edition of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution is quite special to the developers at Namco Bandai Games. The company has announced that aspiring ninjas and Hokage will be able to get their first look at the game via demo on July 2.
From the Chunin exams and fighting against Orochimaru‘s terror, to the epic and growing tale of rivalry and friendship between Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha, Naurto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution is set to capture the series in its entirety.
Upon the official September release, this chronological epic will feature 100 characters including exclusive characters like Mecha-Naruto and the new Ninja World Tournament mode. Also, there will be a new character finally making his mark in the game’s series.
“Obito (Uchiha) will be playable for the first time ever,” Namco Bandai said. “Kakashi‘s long-lost friend will be available on his human form and on his Ten-Tails form when he goes ‘True Awakening Mode’.”
The demo will haul people over, as CyberConnect2‘s online versus mode for the game will be playable until July 23. With this, it seems that the company is taking a beta approach before releasing this battle-heavy title in stores.
The company also announced that by pre-ordering the game, players will receive Samurai threads for the original three main protagonists: Uzumaki, Uchiha and Sakura Haruno. Additionally, Uchiha and Uzumaki will also switch up their attire and battle it out to see who wears it best.
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution will release on Xbox 360 and PS3 on September 1.
