Enslaved: Odyssey to the West Premium Edition Confirmed

According to Polygon, Namco Bandai has confirmed that Enslaved: Odyssey to the West – Premium Edition will be coming to PlayStation 3 and PC “later this month.” Enslaved: Odyssey to the West initially launched for PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2010 to positive reviews but lackluster sales.

While the Premium Edition will allow Enslaved to be played on PCs for the first time, it’s unclear what else the re-release will include. It is speculated that we will see Pigsy’s Perfect 10, an expansion that came out two months after the game’s release. Enslaved was developed by Ninja Theory, the team behind 2007’s Heavenly Sword and this year’s DmC: Devil May Cry.

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is loosely adapted from Wu Cheng’en’s Journey to the West, one of China’s “four great classical novels.”
