Next Episode Of Telltales The Walking Dead Premieres Next Week

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier Episode 3

The next episode of Telltale’s The Walking Dead: A New Frontier premieres on March 28.

Above the Law will continue the story following the events of the two-part season premiere. “Javier struggles to find a role in his newly reunited family,” said Telltale in a press release. “Meanwhile, tension within the walls of Richmond grow.” Based on the trailer, the episode will dive deeper into the mysterious New Frontier.

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier is developed by Telltale and is the fifth game in their The Walking Dead series. The game follows Javier “Javi” Garcia as he tries to keep his family safe and navigate the post-apocalyptic world. Along the way, he will meet up with characters from the comics as well as series mainstay Clementine. The five-episode season is expected to wrap up later in 2017.

Telltale’s The Walking Dead franchise has been the company’s strongest. Before the end of Season Two, it was revealed that the series has sold over 28 million episodes. The California-based developer is most famous for its adventure games. Early on the studio worked on classic adventure game franchises Sam & Max and Monkey Island. After finding major success with The Walking Dead: Season One the studio began working on more high-profile properties from film, TV, and comics. Their most recent series was Batman: The Telltale Series.

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier isn’t the only game Telltale is working on. The studio recently revealed details on the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy series. The first episode in that series is due later this spring. The studio is also developing a second season of their Game of Thrones series. No release date has been announced for that project.
