New Warriors All-Stars Trailer

Koei Tecmo released a new trailer for their upcoming action title Warriors All-Stars. The latest video gives an insight on the character relationships and original storyline Omega Force implemented in this upcoming beat’em up.

Warriors All-Stars features characters from a handful of Koei Tecmo franchises. This trailer features Zhao Yun, Lu Bu, Wang Yunaji and Zhou Cang from the long-running Dynasty Warriors series along with Oka, Tokitsugu and Horo from Toukiden and a handful of characters from Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Book: Opoona from Opoona, and princess Tamaki.

The game’s story explains this mash up of varied characters as they are summoned from a range of worlds and time periods to save a mysterious land at the brink of destruction. Princess Tamaki performs a ritual to call upon saviors to help with the dying land, but unfortunately, her powers spiral out of control and end up scattered. Following this little faux pas, Tamaki sets out to restore peace.

Thanks to Key Battles and Free Scenarios, players will be to unlock each faction’s rosters of characters and created their dream team. Obviously, depending on the characters selected for battle, the course of the game, and ultimately the ending, will vary. Additionally, the all-Bond system will allow players to improve the relationships between their characters. This can be done by fighting side by side or spending time in the Barracks. The added perk? The closer the Bond, the stronger the abilities you’ll unlock.

Warriors All-Stars is currently set for an August 29th release for PC and PS4.
