New Warframe DLC Trailer Teased at TennoCon

The conclusion to the first annual TennoCon sees the release of a new Warframe DLC trailer depicting the next installment of their ever-growing saga. Back in April, the Tenno community was set abuzz when The War Within DLC was first teased. What started with speculation quickly turned into fan theories, making Update 19 one of the game’s most highly anticipated additions.

While the new trailer does its work superbly, much of its content is in reference to earlier installments. It is difficult to explain anything from the trailer in detail, because it would definitely lead to spoilers. Suffice it to say, the new trailer is a portent of disastrous times ahead, for our space-faring ninja warriors.

As always, the “ninjas play free” sentiment is upheld by Digital Extremes. Last update — The Second Dream — is free to all, and accessible to everyone far enough along in the story-line. That means: If you play the game, you are able to play their DLC. There is no reason why we should believe differently for The War Within’s upcoming release.

Over the span of update 19, we should expect a myriad of other new Warframe DLC — from aesthetics to new weapons and characters. Digital Extremes has done a great job keeping the game fresh with new items and features. However, they have also made it a point to occasionally unlock access to older, discontinued gear and warframes. You will always find those people who complain about one aspect or another, but it boils down to the fact that you can acquire any of their new features for free, just by playing the game.
