The United States will be getting a new set of eSports and gaming-related programs as Endemol is launching a new network specifically dedicated to them.
Ever heard of Legends of Gaming? Depending on your love for reality TV your answer may range from “Yes, I love that show!” to “Please, just never speak again.” but it is without a doubt one of the most popular gaming related TV shows at the current time. They will soon be starting their second season in the UK, and the American team will soon be creating their very own version of the show on the new network launched by Endemol.
For those of you that have never heard of Legends of Gaming, it is a reality TV show that revolves around two teams of gamers, each coached by a professional gamer. They are given a set of challenges from a variety of games and the coach has to help them master every one of them. Meanwhile, you also get to see the teams form, their banter and interesting chemistry, in addition to the matches they perform in. Imagine taking all the amazing stories in eSports and focus on them instead of on the intense matches. That is, essentially, Legends of Gaming.
In addition to their most popular show, the new network launched by Endemol will also be broadcasting the following shows. Here are their own descriptions of the shows:
Rule’m Sports: Based on the hit UK series with top YouTube gamer KSI, Rule’m Sports is the show that turns all-star athletic tips, tricks and training challenges into hilarious comedic content.
