Two brand new characters are joining PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale: Isaac Clarke from Dead Space and Zeus from God of War.
In addition to these two new characters, a brand new stage that combines MediEvil with The Unfinished Swan is also on the way.
I find it interesting that this DLC is coming out despite Sony recently severing ties with the original developer, SuperBot Entertainment. The new DLC seen here is all being developed by Sony Santa Monica. Anyway, check out the videos to see the new characters in action and witness their supers.
Zeus looks to be a heavy character that focuses on abusing his godly powers while Isaac is all about using his unique weaponry. I’m not super excited for these characters but I am very glad to see Sony continuing to support PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. It’s not a Smash Bros. clone; it’s its own competent, and very fun, fighter.
This new DLC arrives March 19th. The new stage will be $1.99 while the characters will be $4.99 each. As a special bonus though, if you purchase God of War: Ascension it will come with a code that lets you download both characters for free. That’s a pretty cool deal.
