Today, Electronic Arts has announced Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit developed by Criterion Games. Criterion has stated that they have loved the opportunity to take control of the best racing franchise in the business and plan on bringing it back to its cop chasing roots.
Players can play online or offline and through a career as either the street racers or the police. Police vehicles include hot and expensive sports cars. Considering Criterion Games is the creator of Burnout Paradise, you should expect nothing but sheer excellence from this title.
Just to note, the game was demoed on the PlayStation 3 and the visuals were ridiculously well done. You can pick the game up on November 16th of this year.
