Nacon Revolution Pro 2 Revealed | E3 2017

Big Ben Interactive’s partner company Nacon has unveiled a plethora of new accessories and peripherals for gaming this year at E3 2017. While many items showcased are perfect additions for your gaming setup, the Nacon Revolution Pro 2 was the big reveal for PS4 players trying to get that extra level of precision with their gaming.

Known as one of the first officially licensed pro controllers for the PS4, the Nacon Revolution has swept the European market as the perfect peripheral to give gamers that extra precision with their gaming. Outfitted with programmable buttons on the back of the controller, players can keep their thumbs on the joysticks while still being able to use essential buttons. Combine that with a a concave 8 way d-pad and a reverse analog design similar to the Xbox One Elite Controller and you’ve got a serious controller for a serious gamer.

The designers have listened to their feedback regarding the original Nacon Revolution and have made some vast changes.

  • Mode selectors so players have full functionality in different modes.
  • Fully compatible with Windows 10 to especially help with programming it given it needs to use the PC software.
  • Players can now use the D-Pad as an 8 way or 4 way.
  • Removable USB-C cable is replacing the original threaded cable so there can be no issues unplugging the controller.
  • Left thumbstick is now programmable as well.

Nacon understands that some of these functions may not be at the forefront of peoples expectations when looking for a pro controller. It’s no doubt that the original Nacon Revolution holds certain pro aesthetic choices and functions that may appeal to those consumers. Because of this both controllers will remain available making the Nacon Revolution Pro 2 the perfect controller for those looking to get away from some design choices that may not have been necessarily wanted with the original.

Unfortunately for those in the US, players won’t be able to get their hands on the Nacon Revolution Pro 2 unless through third party sellers. For those in Europe, the controller will be releasing in the coming month.
