Mr. Robot Returns to SXSW in a Big Way

In the midst of downtown traffic and the hustle and bustle of Austin, Texas’ South by Southwest there was a towering 100 foot Ferris wheel on 4th Street and Congress. Not just any Ferris wheel but a Mr. Robot branded Ferris wheel with an immersive set of the hacker den and an fsociety inspired arcade surrounding it.

Welcome to one of the experiences of Mr. Robot during Austin’s two-week media, tech and music driven festival. This awesome activation ran from March 11- March 14, 2016 covering most of SXSW’s Interactive portion of the festival.

2016 was a homecoming for USA Network’s Golden Globe winning Mr. Robot which debuted during last year’s South by Southwest Film festival. Mr. Robot’s world premiere earned them the Audience Award in the Episodics category. USA Network continued their incorporation with SXSW with their panel Coding on Camera: Mr. Robot and Authenticity on TV.
