DMZ is the latest comic book adaptation to hit HBO Max. If you are not familiar with the series, it is based on a comic book written by Brian Wood. It is set in a near future where are second civil war has broken out and turned Manhattan into a demilitarized zone. In the show, Rosario Dawson plays Alma Ortega, a woman set out to find her son. This is not your normal, run of the mill superhero story. This is a story about power struggles, politics, and love. I am excited to see what this four part series has to offer. Good thing we won’t have to wait long. DMX premieres March 17th on HBO Max. Check out the trailer below.
