Moving Hazard – A Zombie Game From One of the Minds Behind Red Dead Redemption and Manhunt

That’s right we’ve got another zombie game on our hands. The designer/writer, Christian Cantamessa, known for Red Dead: Redemption and Manhunt has once again popped up for another title: Moving Hazard.

His role in this was far more direct however, brandishing the title of “Lead Writer” (and Design consultant). His viewpoint on the project are as follows:

“Here’s something I’ve worked on for all those who love zombies as much as I do. I’m excited.”

This company (founded in 2000 by a couple of contributors such as: Marco Spier, Marie Hyon, and Todd Mueller.) Has had more than just gaming in its past. It was originally made to “better integrate animation into social media and advertising.” Recently, after hiring people from high ranking game companies they started the development of Moving Hazard.

So what’s the game about?

The game’s setting takes place in a post-apocalyptic universe where the city- states have been developed over fifty years after the first outbreak. The new groups fight over what’s left in an all-out, no holds barred deathmatch/capture the point warfare. What really sets out this zombie fest from the others is it’s use of the actual zombies. By utilizing several different grenades from your digital tool-belt; one can attract, move, and even outright control the zed’s to tear your enemy’s limb’s clean off. So far the reviews from viewers on steam are mostly positive saying that…

“I’m impressed with how smooth it is for a EA (early access) game.”

“This is by far one of the best zombie games I’ve played so far, even if they still have a lot of stuff to work on.”

The game is on steam right now for 19.99$ and of course is in early-access. If any of the following interests you at all check out the trailer below.
