Hunters everywhere, prepare your weapons because the Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate demo is now available.
It has been a few years since we have gotten a Monster Hunter game over here and, even though Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is a heavily updated version of Monster Hunter Tri on the Wii, fans are excited. There a tons of new quests to embark on as well as weapons that were unavailable in the original release. The Wii U version also marks the first time Monster Hunter will be in HD outside of Japan and the 3DS version is the first Monster Hunter on a portable Nintendo system.
The demo features 2 quests for players to take on as well as 12 different weapon options. The first is a fight against the Lagombi in a frozen land and the second goes from land to underwater against the Plesioth. Both versions of the demo contain the same content but that is to be expected since the versions will be fairly identical.
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate can be played alone or online with up to 4 players on the Wii U. The 3DS version only supports local play but can also join in and locally play with a Wii U player. There is even the ability to transfer your Wii U character over to the 3ds to play on the go and then continue on back on the Wii U when you return home
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate officially comes out for both the 3DS and Wii U on March 19 in North American and March 22 in Europe.
