MineCraft Coming to the Xbox 360

Microsoft announced that they will be bringing the fastest growing PC title to its XboxLive service this year. The name of the game is MineCraft. MineCraft is an open world RPG-like game where players mine materials and then combine the harvested materials to build things such as houses, pick axes, shovels, axes, carts, etc. The possibilities are limitless when it comes to MineCraft and its user generated content. This seems like a small announcement but in actuality it is a major one.

In the PC version of MineCraft you have the option to play along with as many friends as you choose on your own hosted server or a public one. We hope that Microsoft will port existing content from more popular servers and allow an option to invite people to your game. As for the amount of players per room, that is still unknown, but this is definitely a title people want to check out either on your PC or on XboxLive when it becomes available.

The video below was provided courtesy of MinecraftFun. The video shows off some of the amazing creations created in MineCraft. This game is like the LittleBigPlanet for PC and when it comes to Xbox 360 this winter, all the fanboys will finally get their hands on some user generated content.
