Max Payne 3 Soundtrack Available May 23rd

Rockstar has announced that the soundtrack to Max Payne 3 will be available on May 23rd, featuring LA-based band HEALTH. An excerpt from their song TEARS can be heard in the TV advertisement for the game. HEALTH has spent many hours creating the soundtrack that will follow Max throughout his adventure and provide the atmosphere for this dark and gritty tale.

Personally, I’m bummed not to see Poets of the Fall, who previously did work for Max Payne 2 and Alan Wake.  It looks like they are going with a more DJ based sound, as opposed to the musty guitar sound featured in Max Payne 2. Stay tuned for more information as May 15th grows closer.
